Says toolhead cover fell off. It did not

I wanted to print something today and went through my normal process. The printer threw an error about the toolhead cover falling off. When went to fix it the cover was firmly attached. I tried unplugging all the cables including the one the wraps over the top to the back board (both ends) and reseating them to no avail. All magnets are present and the PCBs are all firmly seated with no movement possible.

The last thing I did was try a factory reset and that of course did nothing. Then I figured I would send a ticket, which apparently requires a log file. So I turned off LAN only mode. Connected it to the cloud, did the firmware update, scanned the code and it did its thing till it froze on calibration. Power cycled the printer and it’s back to where it was but now it says it’s connected to the cloud. However when I try to send a ticket it still won’t get the logs because to the cloud the printer is offline. The printer says it is connected, however.

This is pretty frustrating and I thought I would turn to the community for help on this one before I fire the parts cannon a few times.

Any thoughts or ideas?

 Thank you!

You should be able to get the logs from the SD-Card and create a ticket on their website.

There’s a defect in the mechanical design of the toolhead housing that causes this. For details and a remedy, follow this thread.
