I opened an issue with support about these scratches. I think it probably came from the cool plate. My prints came out fine but how do I avoid them? Is it okay to use?
The magnetic pull is quite intense when attaching/removing a build plate. Maybe don’t slide the build plate back and forth across the bed? Instead, line it up and drop it in place once it’s in the proper position.
From Bambu support:
This is normal if you are sliding the plate when attaching it back to the printer. You can avoid this by aligning the plate first before magnetically attaching it to the bed.
It will not impact functionality, but it can look a bit bad.
Seems reasonable. And if you want to be able to slide your build plate, you could switch to a build plate that has a smooth bottom (like the Wham Bam build plate).
It looks like it’s from the tab at the rear of the build plate:
Maybe you’re sliding the build plate onto the bed at too steep of an angle. I doubt the scratches really affect anything, though.
You might want to check your plate(s) for sharp edges left from the stamping process.
I’m sure I slide the rear tab across the bed at least a little bit, but that has not scratched my bed.
