Got a weird issue with my X1C with the touchscreen becoming unresponsive during printing. First I thought it was only on the “Print completed” screen, but now I’ve noticed it at at the start of the print. It stays that way until I powercycle the printer. Then it becomes responsive again. Noticed it today for the first time. (Since the BS update? Not sure…)
Someone suggested it might be a bad SD card (I’ve had the same card in there since my first print without issues) so I removed the card and started another print. Same issue. I can do all I need to do during printing from the app, but my printer kinda decided it wants to be a P1S with Lidar…
Hello, I have the exact same issue on my X1C. I received my printer 2 months ago and it did that from scratch. I thought I had a defective touchscreen but I noticed that the problem can be fixed every time if I power cycle the printer with the rear switch button. When the screen is unresponsive, I can still launch new prints from the app (desktop and mobile). It looks like a software issue…
Well, it was definitely a hardware problem. After troubleshooting with the Bambu techs we narrowed it down to either a faulty screen or a faulty screen-to-board flatcable. I was sent a new screen and cable with the advice to swap out the screens first, and if that did not help swap out the flatcable as well. Just swapping out the screen fixed the issue.
