I published my exclusive model Hexaneel – Christmas Edition (Model ID: 3560260) on November 6.
The model is publicly accessible via its direct link, but it is completely missing from search results – even when searching by exact name, category and sorting by newest.
I have already contacted MakerWorld Support and formally documented the issue. I am waiting for their response.
My question:
If the indexing problem cannot be fixed quickly, am I allowed to delete the model and upload it again to regain the lost initial visibility?
Would this be considered a violation of the duplicate upload policy, or is this an acceptable exception for a documented technical issue?
This is a seasonal Christmas model, so losing the first days of visibility is particularly frustrating.
I’d appreciate feedback from other creators or an official clarification from MakerWorld staff.
