I’m really happy with my H2D printer so far—wishing the best of luck to all of you still waiting for yours, and I hope it arrives safe and sound!
I’m planning to get a second AMS 2 Pro, mainly to dry a set of filaments separately from printing. I’d like to keep one AMS running prints overnight while the other dries filament, so I don’t have to choose between drying and printing.
For those of you who’ve added a second AMS:
Does it come with a PTFE tube long enough to connect to the printer out of the box?
The one that came with the combo seems pretty short—just enough to place the AMS on top of the printer.
I’m not planning to stack both AMS units on top (though I’ve seen the popular bracket on MakerWorld that allows it). I’m thinking of placing the second AMS either next to the printer or mounted on the wall just above it.
Would you recommend ordering additional PTFE tubes from Bambu as well, or is the included one sufficient for a more flexible setup?
