Selecting a range of layers to color to remove a color band?

Greetings to All,

While I have done some cool things with the Bambu Studio Slicer, I am befuddled by my inability to more easily ascribe colors to a layer, or range of layers.

In the attached pictures, I printed this holster on a diagonal with red at the bottom, then switched to yellow for the remainder of the print. I somehow got a very narrow red band inserted into the area that should be entirely yellow and I do not know how to change that layer (or layers) back to yellow.

You can see in the attachments how I have repeatedly tried to select this red layer and change it to yellow but it just ain’t happening. Can someone give me some pointers here or direct me to a specific instructional or PDF that addresses this issue? Thank you in advance for any help.

There is a second screen shot showing black supports that I cannot change the color of because I cannot get the slider “under” the area I want to change. Dragging it to the bottom does not capture the black supports.

First select Objects, Then split to parts. Now you will have a list of all the parts with their associated filament slots. Highlight each until you find the one you need, change ams slot then got to item and assemble.

There should be a a little cross right of the red mini band to delete the color change. You must first move the green marker to that position though.

Thank you! I didn’t see that until you pointed it out. Too tiny for my 64-year-old eyes.
