Selling models in Facebook without permission

A user (Thanks, Sova) warned me that they were selling one of my designs on Facebook, specifically on the account “FAB3D modeli i printanje.”

They didn’t even bother to take new photos and used the ones from my design.

I’ve asked them to remove it, but it seems to me that all the models they post are stolen.

Aside from reporting them, is there any way to report this practice?

Well, congrats you unlock the real MVP achievement “Get Stolen”.

seriously speaking after inspecting his page, it’s nothing to worry about as far as his profile is worthless and i bet he hasn’t made sales.

But…this can only do damage incase you started finding a lot of the same model is stolen, at this point search engine traffic (SEO) will be directed to these pages rather than to your makeworld page.

i would recommend reporting these small ones just to get familiar with the copyright report systems, to get effective actions from these platforms.

in my experience the worst platform to file copyrights claims of 3d printed model are tiktok and meta (facebook, insta…etc) they never put effort on understanding how 3D universe works and their report system is so bad that you will have to spend a big effort to reach the claim page and fill the form to end up with rejection.
out of 8 claims i had 1 success takedown which took TikTok 60 days to take down and 7 declined due to photos isn’t matching x.x ?!
and 0 success rate with meta (instagram).

Meta is dead useless when it comes to helping you with a copyright claim.
Zuckerberg only budged to legal pressures from some EU and US courts so far.
Be it digital artwork, 3D model or whatever can be uploaded, Meta only cares if a complaint comes from someone or something powerful enough to drag them to court over it.
Last time I tried it took me over 2 weeks just to get a replay from a human.
Another 6 weeks later and my claims were all dismissed because FB claimed my claims can’t be verified.
My original were much older, I had the original uncropped pics and even files showing partial designs, so no clue what it takes to proof you are the creator and not the one who stole the lot…

Long story short>
With our media giants it is long overdue that they are put on notice and being watched for every offence as things went out of control many years ago…
