Hey all I’m wondering what I can do if someone is selling my model on eBay. This person has a YouTube channel where he prints one of my models for every subscriber he gets. which is totally legal and fun, I reached out and asked him for a favor, I asked if he could add a link so people could find the model. He said he would and that was that, however the next video he posted he didn’t add any link. I was ok with it and didn’t ask again and i just went on with my life, as I didn’t really care, however the following video he posted was him announcing that he was selling them on eBay, and now I can no longer comment on any of his videos 
I think I might have been blocked. what should I do next? could one of you ask him if he blocked me as I don’t actually know, every time I add a comment the message posts, but then if you refresh the page it deletes it. thanks
eBay does very little to address copyright infringement. I’ve dealt with it myself, and based on that experience, I would say it’s not worth the effort to pursue.
Adding a hole to the original model (from another creator) doesn’t exactly give you ownership of it.
Ops you’re right, the license from the original model has since changed from when I posted this remix. Am I mistaken though that he should still be leaving credit to me and the original creator?
I guess that leads on to my next question witch is if someone changes the license after you’ve already remixed some thing does the first or second license count?
A license can only be revoked if it contains a written provision permitting revocation. This is quite rare in the 3D printing space. You are free to do anything the license allows at the time you receive it.
Thanks, that’s what I thought. I’ve been able to come in contact with the young man who owns the YouTube channel and he was not doing anything malicious. I decided to let him keep doing whatever it is he wants to do with the models as long as there’s credit to all creator’s involved in making it. I think that’s fair and it allows him to keep up his side hustle, go check out his channel and show him some love.

Yep it’s not for me, but some how he has found 3.7k people who are willing to sub, and I can respect that and all the work he’s put in to get there. Even if the content he makes is for the lukewarm IQ, he still has a bigger Channel any of us. Am I right?
