Hello everybody. New Bambu owner here (but not new to 3D printing).
I see a LOT of posts about connectivity issues, so apologies if this has been answered already. I just got my new X1C fired up yesterday and I am experiencing the following issues:
Sending print jobs from Studio over the cloud is sometimes VERY slow, occasionally just hanging around 30% indefinitely, until I click “Cancel”.
I am able to send a single print job from Studio via LAN-Only mode, but any subsequent attempts to send print jobs fail and give me the “LAN Connection Failed” pop-up window, despite still having full control of the printer through the “Device” tab. The only fix to this seems to be to restart the printer and Studio, which will allow one more print job to be sent before I have to reboot everything again.
Both the printer and the computer are connected to the same 2.4 WiFi network. I have tried moving the printer closer to the router, but the symptoms persist. It doesn’t seem to be a signal strength issue. Thoughts?
Are you still experiencing this issue? I just had this happen to me and everything on my network side is just fine. What’s odd is I can still send commands over the cloud (I just did a calibration test command from studio) but attempting to print my file just hangs are 30% and doesn’t move until I cancel.
I got my printer a month ago and this issue was happening to me also and I fixed it by updating the firmware and turning off LAN then I did one calibration after all that
Having lots of issues all of the sudden in LAN only mode. (5) X1C’s to the same computer, all are getting FTP issues when trying to print the plates. The problem is directly related to MS Defender, if I disable the Domain Firewall the prints shoot through super fast. I have added all the listed items on the Wiki page to the firewall but something has changed, this used to work just fine with no issue (probably on the MS side) I have 1000’s of hours on the printers and they have been working very well but our IT wants them in LAN Only mode so I need to find a solution to this. I can try a ‘Calibrate’ as listed above but in my head I can’t see why that would be causing an issue with FTP?
getting this same BS. Zero help on the discord, and nothing from labs tech support who will take a decade to reply at which point I will have solved this. Working on 1 printer but not the other. Of course there’s no solution because this isn’t here as a way to solve problems it’s just fan-mail for a bad service.
Yup. My A1 mini says it uploads fine but then doesnt start the print. P1S sits at 31% then goes back to 30 lol. IM TRYING TO PRINT LIKE 25 HONEYCOMB PANELS
