Sent "Print Sucessful" Notification when printing from SD

I encountered that if you sent the print file through the cloud you will get a push notification, but if you start the print from SD you will not.

Would be nice if the Printer could also make a ping request to the server and sent a handy push notification if you print files that are stored locally from the SD.

What would also be really cool if Bambu devs could provide an open API for people to setup their own notification system. Especially for people who own a print farm.

Similar was already request a few times, like in this thread.
I also found an old request for Orca.

I guess it comes down to the problem in the first link.
Bambu uses a custom system and there is no option to add notifications other than what is specified.
If you print directly from SD using the printer console than I really see no easy way at all to establish a notification of any kind.

For the X1 series custom firmware is already possible.
But that happened thanks to a hack, not thanks to Bambu having offered freely.
They announced to do the same for the remaining fleet along with it but firmware after firmware for the P1 and A1 series is provided locked and closed.
The latest for the p! series finally adds the support for offline firmware updates from SD - the first sign of Bambu getting serious with their offer.
Needless to say that until Bambu provides an open bootloader and firmware that won’t require all files to be signed customisation and actually owning your printer stays a dream.

I think this is not the topic that I was discussing. I was talking about the Smartphone “Push Notification” you get on your Bambulab Handy app everytime the print is finished. But this won’t work when you print from SD.

How I think it normally works is that the printer sents a ping request to their servers which ultimately makes an App notification push request. But this could be easily integrated. Maybe it has something to do with privacy but other than that it shouldn’t be that hard.
