Setting up printer without the display

Hi
I’ve got an X1C that was configured to use my hotel’s wifi network. Unfortunately when boxing it up to move to another city, the cable to the back of the screen display tore.

So now i need to reconfigure it to be on a new wifi netwwork - and while i’ve ordered a replacement cable, does anyone know if i can reset the printer and then configure it via the Handy app on my phone so i can get back up and running asap?

many thanks!

I do not see anything at that link that can be used without a screen to select a network and input the wi-fi password.

Handy is no help because it connects to the printer through the wifi connection, which you cannot establish.

You need an input and I do not see any available. I’m not sure how much of the “brains” of an X1C are in the display anyway. It may not work at all even if you had a network connection.

I think you have to wait for FedEx to show up with a cable.

Then (though it’s sort of the least desirable option) he’ll have to open a ticket with the BL customer support and see how they’ll help him solve his problem.

Ok thanks everyone, first i’m going to try and add a wifi extender with the same name and pasword so that it will hopefully connect as per the previous location… fingers crossed.
