What models might those be? Is it under the same user name?

I have submitted two tickets and received ZERO response. So, what do you think my rating will be?

Even if you remove them, they have the models due to their terms and conditions you agreed to when uploading to their file hosting platform.

I’ve loved the P1S and had been excited to upgrade to newer models of printers Bambu release in the future.

However, with the recent announcement to the way the printers will operate from firmware release 1.08 I am now going to be looking at options from Bambu competitors unless this discission is changed.

The lockdown of the API under the claim it’s all due to security reasons feels like a very poor excuse, especially for the LAN mode. How we use the hardware we purchase should not be dictated to us especially changing it after it has been purchased, very disappointed.

I really hope this discission is changed and the customer is put first, I would be more open to locking down the Bambu Cloud API and allowing third party slicer and other devices LAN only access.

Down to 1.8 on Trustpilot. See a company in free fall. Lost all trust.

But, their vast catalog of free things to print on Makerworld IS a selling point, removing quality items from the database for print is impactful. It’s time for designers top stop working for free for these people who don’t respect anyone.

I really hope they will back off with these new “rules”.
I’ve purchased just a month ago, sadly can’t return anymore, but happily gonna sue them with the help of the Consumer assistance of BMUV. They cannot disable the main function of a device that has been bought.

I’d like to see them backtrack on this, and give us an option to use the printers only on local network, and totally close them off of the outside internet.

I have two X1C’s and they are great printers.

I have only had to put a ticket in once, for items that were not delivered to my works. This was resolved quickly.
From what I read on this forum, I was lucky that this went smoothly.

MakerWorld just looks dodgy. People nicking other peoples work. Not particularly good reading on this forum about MakerWorld.

You say you want to help but if we look at the post about you putting tape on spools, that started May 2023, @SupportAssistant posted just a couple of times, stating that the issue was sorted.
This is clearly not true as people are still having issues. Bambu Lab still send out defective taped spools and they don’t care about it.
How do you think this looks to others reading these posts?
Do you want to improve?? Doesn’t look like it… I believe in actions and not words.

Although you may be correct in some aspect, unfortunately MakerWorld has gained such a strong model base that even if a dozen top designers removed themselves from the site MakerWorld would still thrive.

It’s inevitably the best and undoubtedly the largest file hosting platform amongst 3D printing platforms in such a short period… I used to catch myself heading over to printables or even thingaverse still in the beginning. But most those files make their way over to MW…

Maybe so! For now. But those things can change quite quickly with poor business decisions and lack of respect for those that are providing the free labor to support this platform. How many pre-orders were canceled in the last 48 hours? How many models were removed from Makerworld?

They can correct their course or watch someone else poach their user base at this point.

Designers have already sold out most of their models for tokens or whatever it is they offered for the soul lol. People have been tripping over each other to pump out whatever model they could think of. While jumping ship from the other model sites they were once loyal to. And theyll always have new users that didnt experience this change. It will just be normal if you want to use a bambu. Bambu has enough coasters and star wars nick nacksfor a lifetime. Established lol

Most people wont actually follow through on threats. It will be business as usual in a couple months after their next release. Which, if they were smart, theyll drop a teaser of very soon to redirect attention.

Diversify! Stop only supporting one brand at a time and people wont end up in these weird corners.

I’ll be voting with my wallet. I will no longer give BL any more of my hard earned cash until they reverse course. Further I will instruct all family and friends who were “dazzled” by my new P1S to not buy one but seek alternatives from BL’s competitors.

Sadly only been 1.5 months of owning it and now have buyer’s remorse due to this kick to the groin from BL.

Have posted my 1-star feedback to Trust Pilot for what its worth.

I encourge everyone to withhold using MakerWorld or buying anything from BL until they see what they’re doing is not in a customer’s best interest or at the least a fair compromise for both company and consumer.

Down to 1.7 now on Trustpilot.

The latest announcement is clearly not sufficient. No word on future printers, and no word on whether print farm integration will be free and available for open source print farm software.

Trustpilot score has zero weight in regards to people purchasing Bambu printers. It’s always been low and Bambu printers sell like hot cakes. Your mission to bomb it with negative reviews won’t change anything.

They have officially asked for honest feedback through this official channel. So why not give it to them? The best way to be heard as a customer is to make one’s voice heard. So that no one can say “you are just a tiny minority”.

Their score is now just 0.1 above a certain competitor’s (you know which one), and I wouldn’t say that competitor is selling machines like hotcakes anymore, as it used to be.

You really are in your own little world.

1000 negative reviews on Trustpilot with over a 1 million printers sold. That’s 1 percent of owners. That is a grain of sand in a bucket. No one will bat an eye at it.

Keep telling yourself that you’re making a difference if that makes you happy.

It’s the ratio of positive to negative expressions that matters. It’s called “sentiment analysis”. Google it.

In this video, Jeff Geerling explains why the reaction so far is inadequate:

I probably won’t buy another Bambu Lab printer
