hi, what kind of problems do you have exactly? Which Mac and operating system do you have? I also have an Apple computer and no problem with Bambu Studio. The only thing where I have problems is with Safari Makerworld when I want to go back a page I always come back to the beginning.

MacBook Air, Mac OS Monterey. The program crashes just clicking “file open” half the time. The computer runs everything else just fine. I tried to beta program and it’s honestly worse. Searching these forums says that Bambu has a problem with Macintosh computers by the number of people saying exactly what I am.

The program is basically unstable and I spend more time reporting these crashes to apple than I do working, since Bambu has no easy way to report issues… rough estimate is about 5000 crashes this past week…

Have you tried the Orca Slicer instead? Worth a shot if you’re having issues with Bambu software (and, IMO, it’s a better slicer anyway).

Please do this. No microcenter near me. They sell like 6 creality printers and filament. Ankermakes on display.

Good evening everyone, I wanted to share my unfortunate experience with BambuLab during Black Friday. In December, I received the X1 Carbon damaged during shipping. After numerous attempts and about a month, they sent me a new printer, but here’s the catch—it was the base version, not the Combo version. I immediately reported this issue, but after around 10 days of complete silence, where they never, and I mean never, responded, they finally asked me to send a photo of the label with the serial number and shipping label for further checks :person_facepalming:. After another 15 days, they told me that according to their logistics, the correct printer had been shipped, but as shown in the label photo, this was not the case, unfortunately. Now, the responses are delayed and brief. They’re clearly washing their hands of it. They’ve only told me that they opened a case, and a higher entity, possibly a manager or someone else, must intervene. I feel like I’m being taken for a fool, and I’ve been forced to initiate a chargeback just to get some answers. This whole situation is absurd.

Get your money back and sell those printers, that way you make money for a brand new Centauri or a K2 Combo.

First. Welcome to the community, just about the only place where you will not only get a sympathetic ear but were some might have ideas on how to navigate the “Bambu Wall”.

Second, sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience.

And third, this is standard operating procedure for Bambu Labs, their playbook goes something like this.

  1. You open a ticket.
  • Response: send us your logs.
  1. Complain about a product not received or damaged or incorrect.
  • Response: Prove to us that you are a customer first by sending us photos that the delivery did not occur. (This is not sarcasm BTW: there are ample complaints here where members were asked to do precisely that)
  1. Days go by and no response so you open a second ticket.
  • You get a response to the second ticket scolding you for opening duplicate tickets and your second ticket is closed but your first ticket, now 21 days old is still not responded to.
  1. You finally get a response and they say that it’s not their problem because it’s the carrier. You contact the carrier they say it’s the Shipper.

Unfortunately, this story while absurd, is the reality. There is only one way to get their attention; chargeback to your credit card. Hopefully, it’s not too late because some credit card companies have a 90 day window which I’m certain Bambu must count on.

Good luck🍀 and let us know how this progresses.

Hello, in my opinion, it’s a well-established tactic to delay and respond only after a long time, unless constantly prompted. To get them to listen to me, I had to involve the bank; otherwise, it was just a continuous wait for them to do checks, asking for the same information or photos repeatedly, and soon we’ll be at 3 months! Shameful

It might help if you setup support with phone calls, some here in the USA don’t want to take the time to type out what’s going on with our machines and or lack the ability to verbalize what’s exactly going on.

You could even make money on this by setting up a charge for the tech support. Want to take this to the next level? Offer on-site support or carry in and like before for a fee. I worked in the SMT field and when diagnosing our robotic pick-and-place machines we always had option of calling tech support or getting a tech on-site. I think you need to treat your support more like a business opportunity and raise the level of support.

A little slow over the New Year holidays, but that is minor to me. BL has provided great assistance, and has not balked at replacing broken parts. BL is very fast and efficient, but it helps that I am a technician and can diagnose the issues rather easily. The techs I have emailed with seem very interested in helping me get the right repair carried out.

What is going on with Bambu Cloud servers? I haven’t been able to print since yesterday. I cant even report the problem through the software because it tells me my credentials are wrong.

That’s what (total) dependency on Bambu’s cloud translates into for your machines…instead of relying on your own LAN…
No cloud, no print

My brand new x1 carbon printer stopped working in Mid January and now its 27th February and its still not fixed. in that time I have sent videos and files galore, they sent a new AP board (just as well I’m ok with this sort of in-depth work). but it still has the same problem.
It takes them 6 days to answer each email ticket. until they sort their service out I would not go near them.

What’s the problem?

What he said above. Plenty of people here willing to help, if its a troubleshooting thing.

It would be super awesome if you guys could add a and option on printers to default to the light being off. Most of my prints I do at night while I’m sleeping + needing to get up every time to manually turn off the light for every print gets annoying.

in handy, if you’ve installed the app, you can switch on or off the printer’s light…same thing for Bambu Studio. no need to do it manually, except for when you feel the need to exercise a bit before going to bed…

Late to the party here but I just installed the latest firmware and found myself locked out of printing from OrcaSlicer. I was able to roll back to the previous firmware but this whole experience is very disappointing. I will add my voice to the chorus of folks asking for Bambu Labs to back down and step away from this outrageous and foolish attempt to lock down access to their machines. Time for the CEO to issue a mea culpa and admit they were wrong, dedicate themselves to constructive co-operation with the open source community, and do what they can to staunch the damage to their previously sterling reputation. If this is not reversed, this will definitely be my last Bambu printer.
