Trying to print these pieces at an optimal angle to have an aesthetic layer line has brought back an issue I had with overhang tests on my X1C. My 70-90 degree overhangs would print, but a slope towards the right on the bottom occurred.
Problem is, this is occurring with supports, so I no longer understand how to prevent this. The nozzle seems to travel the distance programmed, but the print remains short, like it decided to skimp on the output of material. Cooling did not seem to affect this, and it’s not a passive warping because it is immediately visible during print. The slicer considers those layers as outer walls.
(difference can be seen between bottom and top edge)
