Never said that. But a fair business is best for the consumer. They can make profit on their machines - that’s fine. Apologies for getting you all mad over shipping.
I’m not mad at all. You’re complaining about Bambu Lab trying to run a successful business. My apologies for calling you out.
Lol. Ok bud. Your attitude changed once you were called out as wrong. Please just leave the chat.
I’m not sure what you mean, bud. As someone who also runs a business that ships many packages, I simply shared the fact that there is more to shipping costs than just what’s paid to UPS/FedEx to physically move the package.
Here’s to hoping you’re not using this same hostility against Bambu Lab support.
What hostility bud? Are you in Bambu support?
@christianglong “msinger” does the same in other posts. Just ignore him
If a printer is dead on arrival or even later I would too expect that I get 100% refund on the shipping. Or they have to find another way like a local reseller.
Thank you for the post. I have tuned them out. I know it is only $30; but, I would of rather turned around and bought some filament with it.
I agree - even if it was only 5$ it is about the principle what you would expect from a customer service point.
From the screenshots you sent, they said they will pay the shipping fee for sending the returned product back to them, unless the issue wasn’t their fault, and then they will deduct the shipping fee from the refund.
No where in the screenshot did it say they will refund the shipping cost of the product they originally sent you.
Saying they will unless it’s your fault implies they will if it’s their fault - which it was.
What they likely do for anything that’s DOA is cover shipment/replacement via that process, and they’d likely cover the cost, vs a re-order, where they need to tie the 2 together somehow.
This scenario ultimately being 2 different transactions, separate of each other in the way you decided to go about things…unfortunately, sometimes it’s tough to get the left and right hand working together properly.
I don’t know if I am misunderstanding you, or you misunderstanding me.
What I understood from your complaint is that when you originally purchased the printer, you paid for shipping and they won’t refund you that shipping cost. Is that correct?
The screenshot you sent does not say they will refund that initial shipping cost under any circumstances.
What I meant by my previous post is that when you returned the printer to Bambu, your screenshot says that Bambu will pay for the cost of shipping the defective printer back to them. But they also said that if they determine that it was not their fault, then they would charge you for the shipping costs of sending the defective printer back to them.
Really? I am sorry but I have to disagree. You pay for shipping, if the product is DOA you should be able to return without cost. If you then buy another one you should not have to pay again for shipping. Also Bambu is insured for transport damages. I paid 1500 euro for my combo. Do you think there’s no margin on the printer? Keep on dreaming.
Maybe dont send out a broken product then? fixes all issues if the item was actually as described. Typical business with their hand out and no accountability
