There is a white shipping part in the top right with an arrow on it. Somehow I thought the arrow was similar to the ones that hold down the heater for the build plate, and pointed to a screw i had removed, so it remained in the printer

it was simple mistake, the start guide is not clear.
I did a full configuration with it in place, no errors
when I tried to print…
you said my build plate was incorrectly placed
you said my lens was dirty
the error was a z axis error and the extruder was an inch from center at 8 o’clock (approx)
i accidently bumped it and it fell off, 8 tries to print at least
we are not perfect, so you have to be. The camera should see it.
