I ordered a P1P in Germany on Jan 15. In the DHL tracking it says today 17.01. “Shipment in transit to DHL.” . According to the DHL homepage, this means that the package has a German DHL label but is still in Asian.
What does the information “Shipped from DE warehouse” on the Bambu Lab homepage mean? That is shipped from Germany, or it is a warehouse for Deutrschland somewhere in Asia? When can I expect the delivery?
I was already afraid that I would have to wait weeks for the printer. But as we say in Germany: Vorfreude ist die schoenste Freude (anticipation is the best joy)
Oh that is fast, did you order from bambulab.com homepage? I live in Sweden so if I order the X1C Combo it could ship to me in like a week?!? Now I got my finger on the buy button! :))
yes sir - i ordered it directly from the official bambu lab store. Tomorrow (three days after ordering) it will be delivered - no need for the worries.
I have the Message now for almost a week and will cancel tomorow and order a qidi.
I ordered
and payed on 7.4
Its just dissapointing for a stock part in an “de” warehouse.
Support did also not react.
Not a company i wanna spend my fun money on.
My P1P got dispatched on the 7th of April, and since the 9th the status is “Shipment in transit to DHL”. Since then the status also hasn’t changed for me. Probably a bit of a delay because of the easter holiday in Germany last weekend, still a bit weird it takes so long for any kind of update. Probably DHLs fault tho
yeah but i think yours is also not really dispatched… i ordered because the website said its in stock! i will wait until tomorow morning and if there is no movement until i preoder k1 or the quidi and cancel the p1p because when i have to wait anyway i wait for the better value for money printer that already has an enclousure.
You are aware that quite a huge chunk of the waiting time was a public holiday where nothing is done? It had in realitly only be 3 days if you substract the public holidays. Have a bit of patience, or buy a Qidi.
I ordered an A1 Mini and I thought it was supposed to come from Germany to Luxembourg. My tracking now says “The shipment is in transit to DHL”, as if it was coming from China or so before DHL takes over. Did anyone have a similar tracking update? “Die Sendung befindet sich im Weitertransport zu DHL.” Thanks!
I see similar notices here in the U.S, except it says the shipment is “in transit” to FedEx. I regularly see delays of two or three business days between the assignment of a tracking number and the package actually reaching the shipping company. I find it ridiculous as the warehouse is only a few miles from the shipping hub, but this seems to be standard Bambu procedure. That’s why I buy only proprietary parts from Bambu, anything else I can get cheaper and quicker elsewhere.
It’s rather simple: when the order is placed and payment completed, the order receives an order number for being processed by the carrier and then shipped. That doesn’t mean that once you’ve received the tracking number the product has been handed over to the carrier. Usually it takes 2 to 3 days until the order is prepped and shipped out and the carrier takes over the delivery. The carrier doesn’t have the same process or uses the nearest warehouse to BL warehouse. Your package, depending on its final destination, and truck routes (it’s not just your package that is being shipped, and not all of them go to the same destination area), might take a seemingly long route before reaching you, a route where there might be involved several trucks and several stops in different warehouses, which obviously translate into more days until delivery. I know because I have gone through this process each time I order something from BL, and this info has been confirmed by a pal of mine who works for such a carrier company.
Except here in Germany I get my Bambu orders within 3 business days, meaning that normally the hand-off to DHL is within one business day of placing the order and DHL delivers within 2 business days of recieving the shipment. So, Bambu in Germany is as fast as possible for a retailer that doesn’t run its own shipping company (ie. reference to the firm starting with an A).
