Should I worry about the static build-up?

Have lot of static electricity building up during my prints on my P1S. I do understand that this is unavoidable due to all the movements and plastics etc.

However, after I have printed and the plate has cooled down and printed items release from the plate the items are still stuck on the plate and won’t fall down even if I flip the plate upside down. (flat items with lots of surface area)
And I can hear small static discharges while I pick up the items.

Is this absolutely normal?

Is this something to worry about? Discharges can damage electronics. Boards or sensors most likely.

Indoor temp: Around 23 C
Indoor humidity: Around 20-25% RH

Yep, that’s normal. I also hear the small static discharges when lifting stuff from the build plate. I guess it’s because inside the printer gets heated up by the bed and therefore has quite dry air. However, the printer frame (or in the case of the X1C: enclosure) should be connected to protective earth, so it’s very unlikely you can damage any electronics with the static charges.

Thanks!
I do assume frame and heatbed are properly grounded, I haven’t checked
But I don’t have previous own experience from 3D printing and don’t know what levels of static to expect etc.
On top of that I do have heatbed problem (get error code), hence I’d like to understand what is normal and what is not.
