I made a post about this annoying UI/UX issue a few weeks ago.

Having been unable to read a new message type, the app told me to update to the latest version. The latest version includes all the changes to points and the introduction of the ‘boost’ feature which I imagine will not be enjoyed by most users, although I can’t comment until it has had time to be used correctly.
