Show wifi password, and don't make caps lock

I just spent about 30 minutes tearing my hair out trying to figure out why my X1C wouldn’t connect to my new wifi network. Turns out that Shift/Caps is actually CapsLock (which i didn’t expect), so I was entering my wifi password in ALL CAPS. Since the password is hidden in the text entry I didn’t noticed that.

2 suggestions:

  1. Add a ‘show password’ or ‘reveal’ password button, this is common on other products usually with a small eye icon
  2. Don’t make the CAPS arrow lock, or add a CAPS LOCK as a seperate button. This is also common in other products.

I don’t know if these are unreasonable requests, but they would have helped me.

I have a script to deactivate capslog because I never use it but you always press it when not wanting to do.

I am using this script for years now :grin:
