I tried to print for the first time with PETG as opposed to PLA on one of my A1’s and had problems with the first layer sticking and other problems further into the print. It may be related to the print itself as it has some little pieces that are printed alone until a certain layer connects them to the main body. I will link the print below.
So to try to fix this I tried silent mode @50% to slow things down and it got further but still failed later into the print. So my questions are about silent mode. Exactly how many different settings get changed besides the speed of the print and what are they? I would like to mimic silent mode accuately with manually changing the setting to differing speeds like 60% or 80% or even 90% just to see what works best without slowing down the print by half and twice as long overall time to finish. On the print below I used generic PETG settings and had 8 pieces on the sheet in one color.

Not sure how silent mode does work but I am having more or less the exact same problem. Have you tried changing temperatures that helps me get improve adhesion for most of the print
Hi Ben3, and welcome to the forum. 
I was going to knock the temp down by 10 degrees C but didn’t try that yet. The brand is Overture and it prints really well at default setting on my MK4 so I figured it would be similar results. In fact I printed a set of 8 of these in Overture black successfully on my MK4 but on the MK4 the print was just over 2 hours as opposed to the approximate 1 hour A1 would have done if successful.
I will probably do some more troubleshooting with the bed adhesion issue but you could try slowing down the print speed in bambu spicer by a tenth or twentieth to try and replicate a 80% print speed
Yes but in my original post I was curious as to what other settings are affected when you just slow down the speed, like retraction, and jerk, and whatever else might be involved with the slow down as if you used silent mode. Mainly want to know what silent mode might change besides the speed.
