So I was busy trying to add a led lighting to my X1 , printed a nice riser and was fiddling with pieces of led strips n connectors. when i saw this 30x30 led panel laying about .
Put 2 rubbers on each side and layed the thing on top of the glass plate and I was finished in few secs, lighting is perfect I don’t care how it looks and its easy to remove if needed.
Left the riser on top as it gives the ptfe-tube a little breathing room.
This looks promising. Can you give details on it? Make/model? Where bought?
The led panel I got it here.
(Led paneel 30x30 cm | 6500K | Koud Wit (865) | 900 lumen | 12W 123led 123led.nl)
BTW. the cooling thingies on top dont come with it. I just gotten a thermal camera and was fooling around to see the effect , you dont need those at all that side was a little hotter but not got above 45 Celc. the rest you dont even feel warmth off. Also the riser is not needed you can do without.
Thank you! And how is it powered, off the printer or separately by mains? Have you noticed whether it negatively affects lidar performnce, or too much glare for the camera?
Yw, its powered by mains directly with a switch on the wall outlet.
Not noticed any effects on the lidar all works ok but never did any testing specific on that either.
Cam looks like :
Though if I look myself its not so dark.
This is great info. Thank you so much again for taking the time to share.
