Single layer of support material for Clough42's Gridfinity grid stack

Hello all

I’m trying to print a stack of Gridfinity baseplates redesigned by Clough42 (I am not worthy) available in his parametrically adjustable model:

Long story short - the model has a stack of grids to be printed all at the same time with a 0.2mm gap between each one for a single layer of support material to allow separation post print.

At around 7 minutes in the video James explains that he used Prusa Slicer’s automated dissolvable support material generating tool to fill the 0.2mm gap.

I would like to do the same using Bambu Studio (new user here) but am struggling to achieve this. I have tried reducing the Threshold Angle, setting Top Z Distance to zero and Top Interface Spacing to zero.

Any assistance would be much appreciated, thanks!

If you are open to using PETG and PLA, you can alternate with no gap, as done in this contribution:

Thank you, looks interesting and certainly worth trying although I would ideally like to replicate the single layer if at all possible.
Thanks again

I too have seen James video and wondered how to do it. This seems to work: split to bodies, Set support to enable, style to snug. Turn off prime tower. Interface material to Sup PLA I cant upload a file as I’m a new user
