Sketchup/Bambu Studio Help needed!

Hi all,
Ive used sketchup to create some vacuum hose clips of various sizes, and when importing the STL file into BS it obviously comes in as one big item. On the clips is 3d text done in sketchup. I cannot work out or find a solution to being able to split the group of clips into individual clips and retain the text as choosing to split parts or objects seperates the text and either keeps it in place or moves it to the bed. Either way i cannot then mode the individual clips around with text included.
Been trying to dod this for hours so if anyone can help be much appreciated.
Here is a link to the STL file if required to help.
Many thanks
Dan

Vacuum Hose Extrusion Clips.stl

I tried Cura & BS and it removed the numbers each time.
Cura also showed model errors.

Always factor you design where possible
Create a single object
Save as STP file where poss
Import and emboss using the text in BBLS
Clone and arrange on plate

Merge the clip and their related text again after the split.
THEN check and correct the height of the text parts back to what it should be.

OR

Clone the assembly as many times as there are clips. Then delete parts not belonging to the clip at hand (press DEL in the object list).
It helps to name the clips + texts 1st (F2).

OK so I just exported each clip as a seperately stl seems like the easiest way.
Does anyone know why the text doesn’t print properly on the top?

I’ve printed several times and always comes out the same. Text is part of the sketchup file.

The text is probably smaller than the nozzle size. What does the preview window in Bambu Studio show?

Have you tried making the text size larger?

Oh yes shows as messed up in the preview tab, never noticed that.

Hi I’m knots.
I’ m trying to download a file onto Maker world but it keeps on saying geometric file does not support g code and not let me download it. I’ve sliced and and used the 3mf file on Bambu Studio. Can someone help me try and fix this.

So tried making bigger using different fonts etc but in the slicer still look incomplete how can i get the text to just print solid?

This text is probably not as incomplete as it seems in Preview. The white gap infill and the red top surface will actually all print as one color. Once printed, you will probably never examine the lettering so closely again.

Try the Arachne wall generator instead of Classic.

A smaller nozzle (narrower line width) can help.
