Hey folks
since the last update 1.04 you can read about a lot of strage fails and errors (possibly) regardig to the firmare update.
Since i go my payment notice today i hope my X1C comes with pre 1.04 firmware. If so, can i just ignore the update or do i have to updaten in order to use the printer? Couldnt find this question in Wiki or elsewere.

Starting the update is a manual process. If you don’t want it, you simply don’t start it. 
Cool so lets hope it comes with 1.03 and they will fix the problems soon. Seems to be a big deal. So many reported they never had an issue and now nearly nothing is working. Very strange. So i will skip 1.04 and maye wait.

You don’t hear from the so many more who aren’t seeing these problems. I certainly am not.

Same here, I was worried about the issues I heard about . I have not encountered any, I actually had to clean my plates off and reapply glue since I didn’t out enough on and it stuck too well. Almost lost my cool plate sheet on day 1…
Same here! Prints just like it did back in October when i got it.
