Skip object before finishing first layer completely

Printed two objects.
It started with the left one and finished its first layer just fine.
Then moved to the second object (the right one) and already the outer perimeter was messed up so I knew there was no point in letting this one being printed.
So I paused the print and selected this object for a skip. Got confirmation, good.
Then I resumed the printing but it still continued with printing the rest of this object which meant the entire inner fill (aka the complete first layer)
That was completely pointless!!!
I don’t really understand why it must have finished the first layer despite the fact of this object being selected for a skip already.
But in the end, once the first layer completed even with those defects, it did skip it and continued with the first object only.

That feature to abort printing an object could certainly be improved to avoid strings and blobs being dragged to the good remaining objects. You could check if there are any feature requests or bugs reported of this nature on GitHub, and create/update with your suggestions.

The cause looks like insufficient glue, or perhaps the heat bed temperature being insufficient.

Your remaining part looks great.
