How can i skip printing objects in Bambu Studio as im able to do it in Bambu Handy? It makes no sense if im not able…

Skipping objects is currently not supported in Bambu Studio software.
Ref: Take a look at the Wiki on skipping. Scroll to the very bottom of that page and read the reply from Bambu to the same question as yours.

There are no comments or any such thing that addresses this question on that wiki page to state why the full actual program suite does not have such a function that that the mobile app of all things is capable of. Perhaps it did when this was originally answered - which is all the more reason why it would’ve been better, and easier, to simply state that answer rather than link it when it could be wiped by someone changing the page as Rayna did just a month ago - though this ‘answer’ could’ve been wiped long ago. Again, why simply answering the question directly is generally a better response - speaking as someone who has worked in IT support for over 20 years.
I should have more control over my printer via a real installed program, especially with all the tools available already in it, rather than less than a mobile app. Which becomes more paramount when you have outages like we’ve been seeing today that prevent the app that relies on the cloud service for most of its operations from doing anything at all with our printers. Bambu Studio sliced and sent the job to the printer in the first place, it should be able to skip.
Instead I will have to wait and try randomly on my phone until it works while sitting at my PC twiddling my thumbs at the full program…or just cancel it entirely to resend and waste 100+g of filament and 7 hours of printing when I could at least salvage part of the print otherwise.
Which as an update - it seems that it may be that the outages today may have required the good ole ‘turn it off and back on again’ solution - which I did after it finally popped up with an MQTT error on the silly app…which in my experience has never actually been solved by the suggested ‘update your app’ it says should be the fix and will still continue to randomly pop up in the future requiring the printer to be power cycled to clear the issue…which should be the first suggestion by the assistant for most issues rather than not suggested at all from what I could see on this one…but again, it is just a little mobile app so you can’t expect too much from it…except skipping evidently.
The limitation is slightly unfortunate, but the feature is way too good to not rave about it. Before this I have had to baby sit the 1/2 way done model or models clearing away stuff that threatens to destroy the whole plate. It would be nice if it was in studio as well, but I usually go to the printer to do it anyway so I can clear aways debris that still might damage other stuff later.
