Slicer error in multicolor

Hi

Why does Bambu Studio slice this very simple multicolor print the wrong way? See the 2 screenshots. The white goes all the to the edge of the model and not like the blue color.

This is how I “colored” the model

Any help would be much appreciated

Try it. This is a learning experience, don’t want to use as much filament resize the part and see what happens

@william.e.lewis464 I dont understand your reply. I’m asking if what i’m seeing is a bug.
Try what?

Maybe it’s something to do with the white outline around the blue, which isn’t present between the light and dark grey. Sorry I can’t be of more help, I’m only just learning the colouring functions

Found a workaround. Set the base color of the model to white and colored the blue and gray areas. Took a lot longer, but it works.

Thank you for the replies.

Hi, I have run into this problem with almost every single one of my prints. I build many models from scratch and some very basic like your post. The boundary between two colors can get really messy for me and it’s a pain to try and fix. The issue I have found is with how the object’s infill colors are generated. Often going to different layers will explain more on why.

Have you found any better work arounds? We need to be able to color the inside of an object at each layer to really fix some of the non smooth color interfaces
