Slicer support for walls in different materials ❤️

The Bambu H2D is interesting, although I don’t own one yet. But one usage case is to combine traditionally weak filaments with stronger filaments, all for the cost of a prime tower.

For example, PLA Wood, Matte or Silk with a regular PLA or PLA+ core.

It’s difficult to implement this with CAD as shells are traditionally very challenging even for the high end packages. However, if you could specify filaments for specific walls, that would offer a convenient solution.

You could even create additional effects, for example transparent or partially transparent outer wall with a different opaque filament for the inner walls. But the main appeal to myself is to improve the mechanical properties of traditionally fragile filaments with a simple slicer setting and the H2D nailing it.
