I found a very nice Daft-Punk (printable) helmet model. The Bambulab Software (slicer) creates the support parts. But when they are printed arounf the mouth opening, they do not attach to the object itself. Does anyone knows what I must concider in the setigns?
Thanks!
Can you give a link to the file?
here is the link to the project file:

It does that for me too, but it seems you are using a combination of painting supports and letting them autocalculate. Either change the Type to “normal (manual)” or try to change to change to “tree (auto)”. Both versions seems to give good results for supports.
Hello Thrawn,
thank you very much for the hints. Yes we already tried the first but we will for sure try also your second hint: “Tree” Support.

Hello Thrawn,
The hint with the tree support worked! Thanks!
But some Trees have broke during printing procedure. The Base of the trees seems not to be stable enough. But the model has been printed very well.
Regards
Great to hear.
There are several options to increase the tree support strengths. You could either change to the Tree Hybrid or Tree Strong setup which offer the same strength, or you could increase the tree support branch diameter to 10mm.
If the tree itself broke in the middle, increasing wall count or selecting an infill might also help.
