Default Color Scheme is “Filament”, and despite changing it to “Line Type”, it keeps reverting each time I slice. It should keep the last used Color Scheme as the starting option.

Is there an answer here? When I am viewing by object, and navigating in and out of different plates, the selected Color Scheme (ex. Line Type) keeps getting reset, and Filament is selected instead. Why is this happening?

I’m also hoping someone can figure this out. I’d like to slicer to stay on “Line Type” for the Color Scheme, yet in multi-color prints it’s always switches back to “Filament” after you slice.

I also find this quite frustrating, the color scheme should stay on the last selected, after each re-slice.

I have the same problem. I noticed it when I updated to the lastest version which is 2.1.1. I can’t believe they still haven’t fixed this after so long:(

Still the same situation in version 2.1.1.52. Changing the default color scheme was a pointless idea. Does anyone read user comments on this topic to fix it?

It would be nice with an update that makes it possible to choose which one you want as the default. @BambuLab
it has been solved.
go to preferences (ctrl+p)
check the box with remember last used color scheme.
Default: a preselected option adopted by a computer program or other mechanism when no alternative is specified by the user or programmer.
“Last Used” is not a default. There is no method to preselect a color scheme. I cannot specify an alternative scheme in advance.
If I could select a one, my default would be Line Type. I use it for every print. I always want to see Line Type first. If I use another scheme, Last Used requires that I remember to switch back to Line Type before closing the window.
Having Filament as the programmer-selected default is a useless nuisance for all of us that do not make multi-material prints.
yeah this needs to be changed. “remember last” is not a good enough option. surely it can’t be difficult to add a drop-down to select color scheme.
I am having the same issues and would prefer the default to be line type.
