Slight underextrusion in top layers

Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum👋.

Haven’t had any problems the past months with my P1S, but recently I noticed this slight underextrusion in the top layers. It might not seem like much, but it’s a problem for the funcional models I print.

Here you can see the issue in the model I just printed (Bambu PLA Matte ; 0.16mm High Quality ; only things edited are the infill density to 25% and bottom shell layers to 8):

The problem started when my bambu pla basic filament ran out and I started using the bambu pla matte spools I bought. In fact, the problem is much less aparent when printing with pla basic. I wanted to add way more photos, but it doesn’t let me do that😅.

The problem becomes more aparent when printing with the 0.20mm Standard profile.

I don’t want to throw away the pla matte spools, so I was wondering what I could do to solve this problem. Anyone who knows how to fix this?

Calibrate the temperature, flow rate, and pressure advance for the matte PLA.

Can I control extrusion for different layers (at least bottom vs top)? Or SPEED?

A lot of times my first layer looks over extruded, but the rest look good. First layer, of course, is a much slower speed.

The first layer is supposed to be over-extruded, it is intentional

It hasn’t FAILED anything. And if I print patterns face down, they are great. Was just curious since a single layer print would suck. And be pretty darn thing.

Thx for the tip!

I increased the flow rate from 0.98 to 1.03, which seems to have solved most of the problem:

However, the top layer still has some underextrusion:

For the lower top layers, the underextrusion was already solved at a flow rate of 1.00, but especially the corners at the top haven’t improved much at a flow rate of 1.03. Would you say this is due to temperature or pressure advance?

A flow rate of 1.05 solved the problems. There’s a bit of stringing now, but that’s alright.
