Smallest prints I've ever made

Took about 5 tries to get the.2 nozzle to stick, but wow is this tiny and will save a Hotel chain tens of thousands of dollars annually. This gear is an orbital gear that goes to a set of automatic window blinds. I designed it to accept a 2.5mm pin. The black one is printed. White is origjnal. The pin/nub ends kept breaking off on the original part. Then the gear teeth would bind as the gears went misaligned

I bought the 0.2 nozzle when I get my X1C also, but I have tried it yet. I may have to pull it out when I start doing gears also!

Are you printing them one at a time (is that why they are spaced out like the are)?

Yeah, one at a time. .12mm first layer with a 2mm brim. .08mm layer at .22mm width after that. 10mm/s speed with the accelerations dropped 75%. Running slow because the contact area to the bed is so small

That should help make them stronger too. Good call.

This is how to do it. Find a need and fill it.

Ive been super impressed with the .02 nozzle on my X1C.

I have been working off and on on a 1/10th scale model of an inspection machine I designed- the flush cuts are a good reference for the size.

Most parts I can just print with tree supports, and they come out really good, even with all the odd overhangs and such.
