Yea look it’s me back from Bambu Jail… Cause I don’t kiss the Bambu ring. Not a problem ban me again if you like but not gonna change the FACTS. So i Read another post about downtime and thought I would like to get to the bottom of this.
My H2D has been down 75% of the time since I got it in April. i had extruder motor fail under 800 hours on the machine. After doing that repair, which is lots of fun, Now wen I start to print the machines send error that build plate not aligned. It is aligned but something in this great AI mess is mess up. So now after all these issues Bambu wants me to ship the machine to some service center. I am prepared to do that but, bet my machine is gone for 3 weeks or more. Not acceptable! They have no idea what is wrong with it and just throw parts at me. Maybe if you let me in on the secret give me say some documentation on how that piece works I could fix it.
Rather than rant like I have in the past, I do need to calm down just spent a week in the hospital due to high blood pressure issue, I am just gonna lay it on the line. Yea I thin the Bambu prints great when I can get it to print. Every print is “will it extrude” since I use mostly PA612 I have lots of feeding issues. Maybe if I just printed dragons with PLA I would be ok HUH? The machine is suppose to do engineering filaments right? I checked BEFORE i bought this but it has issues trying to run this. PLA not an issue. I did however, find out that you can use the HT without the feeder. That was something that I was unaware of so MAYBE if I use it in that way this will me a better situation.
So with all of that, I will say the H2D when it works it is fantastic. I am going to try the external output from the HT and see if it fixes some of my issues. If using the HT to dry my PA then feed it like a external reel might solve some of my frustrations.
