Sock puppet accounts downloading scam?

User has uploaded 54 crappy models with no print profiles and rendered and/or probably copied images in last 48 hours. User has 11 followers, 331 likes, and 483 downloads spread across the models. Looks like all them will soon have at least 10 downloads.

So that would be 50 points for uploads, 30 points for each 10 downloads and 54 models makes enough for $120 worth of gift cards?

Apart from ripping off Bambu it is filling Makerworld with garbage. I already reported this one, if you see similar please report them.

point redemption for new accounts need to be verified within 7 days… so the account is new and he is not directly able to redeem

There were a number of BOT accounts recently that were level 8 and posting generic names as models and getting 30downloads in under 15min then deleting(or private). These were reported in great numbers not so long ago and yet only a few got deleted. I do hope BL does due-diligence and can grab these at the redemption end but I’m guessing a few still slip through as evidenced by the repeat cycles they’ve ran. I suspect they wait for a busy season(holidays) when Bambu aren’t policing so well.

I reported the account. The models have gone and probably the account, but, I can’t remember the name to check.

If it was the account I saw (screen shots of poor renders from tinkercad ) I believe they are back.

I got a notification saying my report was successful which was nice. I presume they identified and also closed the accounts that were downloading the models.

The account name was Mateo.
