Probably a stupid question but is there a filament that results in a soft/pliable product?
TPU is a soft rubber but can be challenging to print with, is that what you’re talking about? It comes in different hardnesses so be sure to read up on printing best practices before going for it if so
Thanks - I will have a look.
TPU is nice, just make sure to do your research and DRY DRY DRY before use.
Remember you can’t print every TPU hardness with the AMS (lite), there is a TPU printing guide on the wiki, but I don’t have an adequate trust level to post links, you have to search it yourselves.
Use TPU Its rubbery and works well for objects where its key to be squishy
Depending on the humidity of the printing location and the likelihood of moisture from the factory.
I have yet to dry any TPU 95A from any company, and I have only ever dried two spools in over five years, and I have gone through hundreds.
Drying is the best advice, provided it is coupled with the needs of the filament.
That said, I have purchased rolls of the 85A and 90A, which I will dry, but only because I would not wish an error to occur when I use almost a KG of material in a single four-day print making my new shoes!
