I have 2 AMS units. My colors are always changing so having them set by the printer doesn’t make sense for me. I need them to be set by the software so that, in software I can see that the color assignements are correct.
Please allow the software to update the printer color slots either on a sync action when when i go to print.
I am very happy that I bought a Bambulab X1-C. There is nothing to complain about. The improvements to the old printer are huge. The greatest value, the printer no longer has to be in the office - Will now place the printer in a small room with a dehumidifier. Great work and a big thank you!
Now to the topic:
I know that the synchronization has already been implemented. But I think that the Automatic Material System is still considered too much as a multi-color system and not enough as a multiple storage system. Deactivating the first slot on the slicer after sync action just woude make the whole thing a little smoother - it also works that way, it just would be a little easier to deal with. Since the way to the printer is now longer, a second AMS makes a lot of sense but i think is to much “multi-color system” to add. an addition AMS now.
