Solid Geometry in Studio

Ok, so I’ve painted models which took a long time, but I’ve been overlooking some post processing for the sake of production.
Now it’s getting tedious.
There is one joint in my models that require filing and or clipping and I’d like to fix it without losing my paint work. Is there a feature in either MakerWorld or Studio that would allow me to either “carve out” the joint’s socket - or - smooth out the ball, so that I don’t have to clip or file it? Without losing my paint.

Based on your question, there’s no “quick” way to change shapes inside a slicer - that’s CAD territory.

It’s also hard to give a complete answer without a visual reference. Please upload a screenshot of the model in your preview and slice screen and mark the area you want to modify. There may be a workaround that isn’t clear from a written description alone.
