(SOLVED) Infill printing above top wall layer?

I’m trying to print this laptop stand and as per the model comments I print with no top or bottom layers and 10 % honeycomb infill. However when I slice it the infill prints on top of the wall. Can I fix this??

iChris is correct turn off one wall on top surface :+1:

This helps on some infills also
turn off

Is it only the top layer youre talking about wanting gone or in general?
in general you have the infill/wall overlap setting right there on that screenshot in the advanced section.

note that you want some overlap for bonding strength.

if its only the top layer thats the issue you can add a height modifier to the model that includes the relevant layers and set the overlap to 0 in the modifier, should do the trick.

There is a setting for “only one wall on first layer” and “only one wall on top surface”
disabling these/ setting it to “not applied” should fix it

or that, still learning slicers so not 100% sure on which settings does which.
I think the height modifier trick still applies, just with the relevant setting.
