Hi, I have a problem with my X1C.
I usually print from my SD card for often needed files. I’ve never had issues with it before.
I export the file directly from Bambu studio to the SD (I also send a copy to my backup folder so I have a backup of every model file that is on the sd).
Today none of the files I put there are showing up on the printer screen.
All the old ones are visible.
I formatted the card Fat32 and recopied all the files from my backup. The latest files are not showing still.
I tried formatting it on the printer. Same result.
I tried removing the “.gcode” extension. I re-added it. It’s not a filename length or special character issue. I changed the name of on of the old files and that still shows up.
No matter what I do, no files I generate now will appear on the SD when I’m trying to print them, only the files I’ve previously made.
Has an update messed up the exporting of flies to SD?
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Laurie Smith
Edit: I’ve just realised, there is one file on there that I made today. It is ABS, all the other files that are missing are TPU. Coincidence?
So if you completely empty the card, and then add a new file, that new file doesn’t show up [and the printer shows zero files]?
I haven’t tried adding them one at a time. I’ve been formatting it and copying the whole folder of files across (about 38) Only the ones I’ve previously generated show up on the printer. The ones I’ve done recently don’t appear on the printer even though I can see them in the pc browser.
Sure sure. Try it and see what happens.
Hello. I’m experiencing the same issue; I just discovered it. The printer firmware version is 01.11.02.00. Bambu Studio version is 02.07.01.57. Everything prints fine and files are successfully sent, but the printer itself doesn’t show them in the appropriate section. The files also don’t appear on the flash drive (when I insert it into the PC). If I force-copy files to the flash drive, it appears on the PC, but the printer shows the memory card as empty. I’ve formatted the flash drive several times, both on the computer and on the printer itself, with no results. The memory card is a Samsung 256GB.
