I have the suspicion that something was broken with the last update of Bambu Studio. Have a look at the pictures. Both parts were printed with the same .3mf
file. Nothing was changed. The part with the many errors and massive stringing comes from Bambu Studio. The other, perfectly printed part comes from Orca Slicer.
I’ve tried this back and forth twice now (and used a lot of filament), and always the same result.
Has anyone else had this experience?
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

Did it break going between 2.0 versions, or from 1 to 2? If 1 to 2, and assuming you are on windows, can you download this zip and try the studio version contained? Should be safe, but I’d think worst case is you’ll need to re-init your local user config from the cloud. It’s better comparing 2 studio versions than studio and orcaslicer.

I saw version 2 come out, I promptly chose ‘skip this version’ as there’s no way I’m using updated software when the only updates are for a printer I do not have.
I really wish folks would fork their programs to keep nonsense from one model from creeping into the other but alas many aren’t that observant.
