Hello guys.
I have an issue. I can’t print anymore a project I printed 2 days ago. It went almost perfect 2 days ago but now I can’t finish the print.
I always get spaghetti… From the video seems that (maybe) the hot end hit the Rods and they fell off (??) is it possibile?
Follow the guide for tramming. Before you start the g-code, turn the knobs into the “neutral” position as per guide. Let the bed leveling happen, tram them until they barely touch. Should only be slight adjustments.
After I have done the tramming, my printer started to fail doing homing procedure and later diagnosis showed too much stress on load sensor #2, so I had to unscrew them back to original “loose” position.
Did you ever get this solved? I suddenly started having the same issue where I can’t finish a print to save my life. It gets a good part of the way into the print and spaghettis (yes, that’s a verb).
I think I would examine some other items before jumping to tramming the bed.
Wet filament? What infill? Like in the old op post I would have looked harder at what could have changed in the 2 days his print succeeded and then failed. So many variables in printing (and some that are far easier to diagnose) that jumping to bed tramming because the pic does’t look like yours is a bit rash. The beds are trammed at the factory, most won’t look alike.
Do some test prints and keep an eye on chamber temp. It’s possibly the same issue many- myself included have been working through. Tight spots on the carbon rod/bushing assembly that cause step loss/ spaghetti when chamber temp is hot.
Especially if you’ve notice they seem to fail around the same times/layers.
I just read through the topics you were in on the same issue. At least it’s good to know I’m not alone. I saw that one user was able to get a replacement printer from Bambu that solved his issues and that you instead were opting to order new rods. Did you receive yours yet and fix the issue? Since I don’t have immediate access to hardware, I’m going to try and copy the fan settings of a different user to try and keep the chamber temperature down a bit. I’ll put in a ticket with Bambu too so I can get that gcode to test for sticky rods.
Took me about 2 hours to replace, watching the videos on wiki as I went.
Not hard really, just time consuming. The trickiest part was probably removing the belts from the toolhead, but, there was new belts and toolhead included with the rods, so being careful was not really that important I suppose.
Having the old rod assembly off- and comparing with new, there was a very noticable difference in smoothness.
Doing calibrations now, going to try to get a hot print in before bed. Will post back!
