After slicing a plate and viewing the Preview pane w/ “Color Scheme>Speed” view selected, I discovered that the regions of “Sparse infill” have been set by Studio to print at two (2) different speeds (see pic), not just the one set by the user-selected “Sparse infill” speed setting. It appears that, in addition to the regions that are correctly set to print using the user-selected “Sparse infill” speed setting, the other regions are set to roughly 50% of that setting.
I can’t seem to find a setting in Studio (or Orca) that is causing this reduction in speed
for these regions. As a test, I have overridden all speed settings, both in mm’s and %, to high speed in an attempt to see if any of them might mitigate this issue. However, nothing does, and these regions are always roughly 50% of the user-selected “Sparse infill” speed setting.
On a side note, it does appear that the slower regions are of smaller volume.
