Did calibration, dried filament, nozzle is on securely. Not sure why this is happening. There’s just a patch that seems like overextrusion. Not on the other parts on the print, just here.
A1 with 0.4 nozzle
PLA, but I printed PVA before

I’ve seen it, generally is contamination on the build plate. I’d trust you cleaned it before posting this?
Correct. Did clean it. I will clean it more thoroughly later and see how that goes. Maybe tomorrow since this is a 15 hour print
Also had some things like that (depending on print) that will still finish ok.
Is this a raft with supports beginning to form, if so, rafts are rarely required, decent support and mouse ears are much better.
Even it that is the bottom surface the print will be fine.
Also had one question on a few posts/pics I’ve seen recently, (Not even in this thread) why is the front plate off of the hot end? @MalcTheOracle in particular I thought had one.
I have it off. For me, it looks cool and I can spot errors easier
I don’t even know, I have to check. I don’t think it is
It’s just for supports.
To me it seems like it does more than that, directing the cooling airflow across the fins of the nozzle but tbh I don’t know that.
