Well, you pointed out X1C with AMS, to which I simply said that P1S will do literally everything for way less than 1k. You don’t need $1500 2-year-old “flagship” to get that level of printing.
They are probably the simplest printers you can find on the market. Everything in their design is simple and ultra-easy to replace or tinker around. And trust me on that, my P1S had sooo many warranty self-repairs over time, that I do have pretty good expertise in that.
I’m not sure why you or @JonRaymond even mention them… Forget the creality and over copycats.
What was the discussion? Voron 2.4 price vs Sovol (copycat) and BL, right?
My point remains:
Want quality? Voron
Want simplicity and jack of all trades, yet master of none? Bambu Lab
Want cheap ■■■■? (Pardon my language) Get whatever you want and then deal with e-waste.
To be fair, Voron has not overhauled its design in quite a while. But you know what? There will always be a path to upgrade your Voron to the latest revision. Same with Prusa.
Can we say the same thing about Bambu Lab? Nope.
Sovol? I highly doubt it.
And yes, Bambu deserves a lot of credit and praise for what they did. I do not deny that.
