Speculation about new printer announcements

The details of the upcoming H2D seem insane…
Massive in build size, two print heads, a new AMS and more…
Brings the question of price…
Big volume usually equals to a higher price, same for dual extruder systems…
Would be nice if Bambu could share the details about their new printer here so we won’t have to look for leaks on Youtube and other places…

There is a dedicated thread for all things speculative regarding upcoming printers in lots about the so called H2D.

until its official, i won’t even bother asking, or trying to find out anything about it. At this point in time it ain’t worth the trouble and the effort. Once released, all info and specs about it will be made public, so why bother with speculations now?!?

How big is the build plate? Is it open-air?Are the wwo nozzles next to each other or apart? How expensive? It is compatible with what filaments? How fast can it go? When will it be released?..

It isn’t random and many believe it is just either a rehash of an old image or the same old image.

Go to the full post as it is detailed there in annoying dragged out form full of increasingly difficult to comprehend analysis.

Link above when I posted about this thread should be merged.

This is that same thread

It wasn’t before threads were merged.

As I recommended.

Did you guys see there is a new Sunlu dryer coming on January 8th? Max temp 110. No price yet.

** I know this isn’t a printer and it’s not speculation… sorry :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Edit: the link summary now shows $999.99… Hopefully that’s just a place holder!!

yep good thing that Sovol messed up and after a long delay i had them cancel and refund. this will give me another option to consider, and it’s a strong one - well depending on the price

don’t worry… it’s not yet a reality (will become one sometime in January) , thus it can still be classified as a speculation

Thanks for posting that! Seems like a big improvement over what’s commonly available. I wonder what kind of plastic they’ll be making it out of, since it needs to withstand 110C and probably then some.

I had often wondered why nearly all the filament dryers on the market didn’t heat above 70C, but Sunlu’s graphic from the link you posted finally hints at what may be the reason:

No problem! I had always wondered that too and this picture does make it make sense. I just noticed, I think they got the pictures mixed up on their own filament spools. The blue one in the 4th pictures is what their PLA+ 2.0 comes on and it screws apart so you can put refills on it. I think it should be the second one in the picture marked as “Removable Spool”. I think pictures two and three should be three and four.

Yeah, and now that you mention it: AFAIK Bambulab doesn’t have a gray spool, and the Bambu black spool is rated to 90C.

I like that it has usb and hdmi out. He said you can plug a monitor, keyboard and mouse into it. Probably has a raspberry pi.

I like companies like this. Nerds unchained.

I see you guys are really interested in the multicolor printing. I was just thinking if there could be a chamber that mixes CMYK filaments to print in all colors. It might be really inconvenient and slow, with tons of poop, but at least we should get an interesting colorful print without buying all of the separate colors. Also there should be something done to the poop. Probably there is a chemical that can separate the different colors from poop, or we can simply divide the poop into a few blocks and melt them and color them in different colors. It might be too large for home use, but it could be an idea for commercial use.

There are talking about one a few messages up.

At this point, many filament would already be softened, and before it reaches 110 C I am sure that the drying is achieved. There is no point going too high.

It’s also an annealing station

Unless they trademarked the fake logo’s since they are associated with Bambu Labs now. Sort of like registering your domain name in every extension so someone else can’t use them for recognition.

Regarding customer support, let’s say for a moment that we are hearing the true problems from 10,000 unhappy customers complaining about Bambu Lab Customer Service. Thats considerable, since it would take a long time to digest all of that. So 10k is only 1% of the over one million printers sold. Is it possible the customer service issue is the few thousand that keep posting on forums? That make it seem like it’s a bigger issue than it really is. Just thinking out loud. Let’s not forget there was a lot of unhappy people trying to get free filament because of an overhyped tape concern. There are always people complaining, it’s sort of a natural human pastime.
