In the 2.x software, there is option to “SLOW BY HEIGHT”. BUT, ou have to enter specific numbers for this, AND the defaults are FASTER than what yoiu have selected in your print section.
QUESTION - ANY WAY to just EASILY ADJUST this by a percentage or original speed?

What number in my ORIGINAL settings do i change, in THIS section, to lower it, or do i have to put ALL the numbers in?

Is there a way to pass this on to Bambu developers to make a SIMPLE selection for print slowing, in the “SLOW BY HEIGHT” section?
all i want to do, with a tall object, is SLOW IT DOWN at the top half, it can do a gradual slowing, i don’t care, i just want it to not topple over due to speed
I sliced my file first, then selected ‘Speed’ from the Slicing Result dropdown menu. Than you can see roughly how fast your printing speed is by default. Just wacking it in half and lowering the acceleration isn’t all that difficult, but I know what you mean… like why the acceleration is at 100,000?
Be nice if they had a feature that looks at the z height of the part, preset speed settings for outer wall and preset default acceleration; then slows down speed and acceleration for the top half of the print, based off of those preset values.
There is no single speed control to adjust speeds proportionally. You can try lowering Maximum Volumetric Speed in the filament profile, but this is an overall upper limit and does not slow down different line types proportionally. The faster speeds may be reduced, slow speeds may be unchanged.

Usually items at risk of toppling over are tall and thin, and the sticky filament tends to drag them around. This can mean the model is out of position when a new layer is put down, causing a poor surface. In some cases, it can cause the model to break loose from the plate.
My fix for that is to paint small spots for tree supports on vertical surfaces. With a small Support/object x-y distance these do not actually touch the model, but stabilize it and restrict movement.
