does anyone know of a test that could determine the optimal print temp for the fastest print speed? i’ve done the flow calibrations and max flow rate tests in orca, and i’ve also done the VFA, but all the flow and speed tests are done at a single temprature. the temp towers are all done at really low speeds, i want to know what the fastest speed/temp combo i can print at and still get good results.
Why not do the speed test (VFA?) with different temperatures, using the best looking temperatures from the temperature tower test?
sounds like one way to do it, just have to print multiple ones, but seems like a good solution.
Lookup cnc guy on youtube, uhh faster speeds lower strength? something like that. He did vid on the fact as we increase speeds, bonding times are lower, he did the actual hard stuff and came up with some numbers iirc…
