I will offer that @Josh-3D and others have a great view on how to do it. If that’s how it would be done I personallly wouldn’t be bothered at all. I pay for things.
I (like always) want to throw a wrench in the works though. Josh states “not scummy”. This IS MakerWorld though. Nothing has worked as it should. If there’s a way to make a buck someone WILL abuse it, BL will be slow to address it, and when it does it will be a cycle to start all over again.
And the ones to get hurt are those like you. I believe if you come up with something cool you should get paid, or appreciated, or be able to appreciate someone. Given MW past I think you’ll have a bunch of headaches while doing it.
ADs, real ADs will drive me away. An affiliate link, buy me a coffee, “hey my pateron is here” type things are cool. PCBWay is annoying enough when watching vids, don’t wanna see while looking for models.
