Here is my problem:
I have the AMS system. When the Spool is getting low, below 25%, when the 1st stage feeder pulls the filament sometimes it lifts the spool. It then cannot spin and the 1st stage feeder has high tension with the filament and spool becomes stuck. I have to lift up the spool in the center and let it unspool for the feeder. I put it back and seems okay for an hour or two and same problem again. I tried taping in a golf ball in the center to see if it helps. Anyone else with this problem? What did you do? It seems to only happen to spools that are larger like Bambu spool and are almost out of filament.
As wierd as it sounds… putting the golf ball in the spool and taping it worked… I looked up wieght for ams… sure enough others have had this problem. There are printable solutions that are much nicer:

may have to try this - it is very annoying to watch it slam the roll up against the lid repeatedly attempting to pull filament.
Try putting 1 golf ball and tape it inside the spool reel. I did and it fixed the problem. You can also print up the spool weights I posted above for a better solution. It did fix the problem.
This happened again today while I was watching. I lifted the spool so it could continue loading the fillament, and during that time I checked the roller/motor and it was FIXED. So ofcourse the spool got pulled out. No weigth/different spool can fix this. Seems to me lika a SW issue.
If the spool is picked up from the slot, it sounds like a spool issue not a software issue. I have had at least one spool of each brand that was off where it did this. Usually it was because the spool filament was spooled way to tight or it was tangled a bit. Do you have video if this? Might be a good idea to send it to support to see what they say.
This worked. I put in a few ball bearings (left over from hextraction). Thank you
